Operation Parallax is real AI team building: an escape room where AI is not a decoration but the engine of the game. The same mystery box with puzzles, hidden clues and VR scenarios, but with a layer no other AI team building activity offers. Instead of ruling out suspects by reading static cards, the team enters an interrogation room and chats with the case suspects, who answer with artificial intelligence in real time.

Each suspect has their own alibi, their version of events and their contradictions... Teams ask whatever they want, in whatever order they choose, and the characters answer in real time. That is why every interrogation is unique and no two games are alike.

The challenge is not reading, it is knowing how to interrogate: spotting the inconsistency between two testimonies, pressing on the weak point and building the theory of the case before time runs out. Communication, strategy and critical thinking are the only way to win.

Each team opens its interrogation room, picks a suspect and questions them by typing. There are no menu answers or closed dialogues: the artificial intelligence generates every reply on the spot, based on what each team decides to ask.

You interrogate digitally and investigate physically. Each team enters its room with a simple QR code and still has the usual materials on the table to solve the case.

Each team scans a QR code and goes straight into its own interrogation room. No apps, no installs: within seconds they are already questioning the suspects. Each room is independent, so teams compete in parallel.

As an extra, we provide one tablet per team for anyone who prefers not to use staff phones. Your call.

The usual physical support

The box doesn’t disappear. Police files, evidence, puzzles and case materials stay on the table. The interrogation is what’s new, but the team still leans on everything physical to cross-check data and build its theory.

You can re-interrogate any suspect as many times as needed. Every testimony adds clues, but also noise. Knowing who to press is key to solving the challenge.

Operation Parallax

A group of hackers has infiltrated the systems of a tech company and stolen critical information about artificial intelligence. They plan to launch a global cyberattack. But the problem doesn’t end there: there is a traitor inside the company itself working with them from within.

Your team steps in as the investigation unit. Suspects to interrogate, an interrogation room and the clock ticking. The only way to solve it is to ask better than anyone. Will you unmask the culprit before time runs out?

The heart of the experience. Each team enters its own room with a QR code and interrogates the suspects by chat, who answer in real time. Every chat is unique.

3D riddles and puzzles

Physical puzzles, three-dimensional brainteasers and riddles with numeric and alphabetic solutions. Part of the challenge is working out how to link answers together to move forward.

Hidden clues

Not everything is in plain sight. Some evidence needs specific tools to reveal its content. Part of the challenge is spotting what isn’t obvious at first glance and knowing where to look.

360º VR scenarios

Mobile virtual reality scenarios to explore the case locations. Participants interact with the spaces and find clues that exist on no other medium.

Police files and case materials

Suspect files, evidence and investigation notes in physical form. The team records alibis and contradictions on the table and builds the theory of the case piece by piece, until it points to the culprit.

Briefing
We introduce Operation Parallax and the objectives. Teams are formed, each receives its box and its access to the interrogation room. The clock starts.

Interrogations
The team chats with the case suspects. It asks, presses, backtracks and cross-checks versions. The AI answers in character on the fly.

The final theory
With the testimonies and physical evidence pieced together, the team points to the culprit, locates the coordinates and builds its theory of the modus operandi.

The verdict
The results are revealed. The team that solves both objectives in the least time wins, and the debriefing closes the experience.

Why AI changes
what the team experiences

There is a radical difference between reading a suspect’s file and having to get the truth out of them. In the classic version, the information is written down and the challenge is interpreting it. In the AI version, the information has to be earned: the team decides what to ask, how to phrase it and when to press. That sense of facing someone who can lie to you completely changes how involved people get.

Because answers are generated on the spot, no two games are alike. A team that asks about time-of-day alibis will experience a different case than one that starts digging into relationships between departments. That makes the activity perfect for repeat groups too: the culprit may be the same, but the path never is.

The format forces real coordination. Someone leads the interrogation, someone notes the contradictions, someone cross-checks against the physical evidence in the box. Roles emerge on their own and the usual company hierarchy stops mattering. What matters is whether the team can interrogate together.

And the final debriefing, when each team lays out who they accused and with what evidence, sparks a conversation no traditional workshop manages to provoke. Seeing how two teams reached different conclusions interrogating the same people says a lot about how each group thinks and decides.
