Build your car,
win the race

"Competitive gymkhana, team building and relay race. All in one session."

Crazy Cars combines three phases in one: a competitive gymkhana to win materials, a building phase where each team assembles their own car, and a final relay race that decides who takes the trophy.

The materials won in the gymkhana make the difference: more parts means more options in the build and more advantage in the race. That is why every challenge matters and every team decision has real consequences.

No mechanical or engineering knowledge is needed. Facilitators provide the plans and accompany the whole process. All you need is the desire to compete and work together.

How it worksn
los Autos Locos

Three phases, one goal: get on the podium. Every team decision has consequences.

01
Gymkhana
Teams compete in a series of coordination, cooperation and communication challenges. Each completed challenge provides parts and materials for the car build. This is where the advantage starts.
02
Strategy
With the materials won, the team decides how to design their car. The plans are there, but the decisions are the team's. Time is running and every design choice impacts the final performance.
03
Build
Limited time to assemble the car with lightweight PVC materials. Every minute counts. The team that organises itself best and communicates well finishes sooner and with better results. Tick tock...
04
Test
Before the race, each team tests their car. The moment of truth: does the build hold up? Does it run well? Last-minute adjustments can be decisive for the final result.
05
Race!
The relay race decides who takes the trophies. Two prizes: champion pilots and champion constructors. The most fun podium of the corporate year.

Why every phase
really matters

This is not a filler activity. Each phase has real consequences for the next. The team that works well in the gymkhana arrives at the race in better shape.

Phase 1
The gymkhana decides the advantage
The gymkhana challenges are not decorative. Each completed challenge provides real materials for the build. The team that solves the most challenges arrives at the assembly phase with more options, more parts and more room to manoeuvre. Cooperation in this phase is decisive.
Phase 2
The build reveals the team
With limited time and available materials, the team has to organise itself, divide roles and make decisions under pressure. Who leads, who executes, who checks. The build phase is where team dynamics emerge most clearly.
Phase 3
The race decides everything
Relay race with the cars built by each team. Speed, agility and the work accumulated in the two previous phases. Two trophies: champion pilots and champion constructors. The podium nobody wants to miss.
Why it works

The consequences are
real.

Most team building activities are simulated exercises with no real consequences. In Crazy Cars, what happens in the gymkhana directly affects the build, and the build affects the race. The team that doesn't cooperate in the first phase arrives at the second at a disadvantage. That forces genuine collaboration.

And at the end there is a car that works or doesn't work. There is no way to disguise the result.

Skills the team develops
in Crazy Cars

Behind the fun and speed there is real teamwork. The three phases naturally activate the skills most needed in the workplace.

Real cooperation

The consequences of not cooperating are tangible: fewer materials, worse build, worse result in the race. The team that learns to cooperate in the gymkhana arrives at the race with a real advantage over the others.

Leadership

The build phase brings out natural leaders. Someone has to coordinate the assembly, distribute roles and make decisions when time is pressing. Crazy Cars reveals who leads and how they do it.

Communication

Three different phases with changing roles force the team to communicate clearly and constantly. Communication that fails in the gymkhana is paid for in the build. What fails in the build is paid for in the race.

Planning and strategy

With limited materials and a tight clock, the team has to decide how to build the car that best matches their capabilities and available resources. The building strategy is just as important as speed in the race.

Managing under pressure

The clock runs in every phase. The ability to stay calm, make quick decisions and not lose coordination when time is tight is exactly what Crazy Cars trains.

Creativity and ingenuity

There is no single correct way to build the car. The team that uses ingenuity to make creative use of the available materials usually surprises the rest and gets the best results.

Frequently asked questions about
Crazy Cars

No, it is completely safe. The vehicles are built with lightweight PVC materials and the race takes place on a circuit supervised by our hosts. Speed is low and the priority is fun without risk.

Not at all. Our facilitators will guide you step by step and provide the plans and materials needed. The activity is designed so that any team can build their car using ingenuity and teamwork, with no prior experience required.

Both options are possible. We can set up the circuit outdoors (car parks, gardens) or indoors in large spaces (sports halls, wide hotel ballrooms). We just need a smooth surface for the cars to run on.
